Country Way has been around Fremont for decades now, and it's awesome to see a traditional American place with this kind of longevity. Love the log cabin interior and how it's stayed the same over the years. Last time I was here was after basketball practice in middle school, and I still remember the huge portions of omelette with the toast stacked high. This time, I ordered the tri-tip, which came out perfectly medium rare, with over easy eggs. Only the potatoes were a little under seasoned, but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix. Great place for brunch and an endless stream of coffee.

If you was some bomb French Toast and huge breakfast portions, this is your place!! I have never had a bad experience at Country Way, it may be a small but this place does it big! They have THE BEST French Toast I have ever had!! Literally melts in your mouth. Their portions are also HUGE, you will definitely get your money's worth :)

Huge portions--none of us finished our plates, and believe me, we tried. The menu may seem like, "Oh it's just another basic breakfast place" but trust me, it's not. There's something about this place; the service is great, food tastes amazing, and while the tables may be a teensy bit too close to each other and the place can get super crowded, you can definitely tell why and it's all worth it! It's super family oriented and good for groups--but not too big because you might get seated separately. The ambiance is not really meant for any private conversations but more of a homey, family, diner kind of feel. Enjoy!
